Find out what kit will United wear against Arsenal

|

Even though, what kit a club will wear will not determine the outcome of the match or the performance of the team, some supporters like to know in advance what colour of strip their team will be wearing on game day.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United’s home kits are red, and because the game is at the Emirates Stadium, it means that Arsenal will wear their traditional home kit, so United have the option of either wearing their white away kit or green third kit.

It was confirmed on the club’s official website last evening, that Erik ten Hag’s side will be sporting their white kit, with black shorts and white socks, that they wore in their previous away Premier League game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night [Man Utd].

Even though United have won their last two matches in the green kit against Southampton and Real Sociedad, the United fans will be pleased that the green kit will not be on show at the Emirates because whenever United are sporting the green kit, fans immediately get bad flashbacks to that dreadful game against Brentford back in August, where United were trounced 4-0 by the Bees in West London.

Now we know what colours the teams will be wearing, it is down to business for both the Gunners and United in what is a mouthwatering clash with both sides in good form; Arsenal have won 15 of their 18 Premier League games, whilst United are unbeaten in 10 games in all competitors, winning nine.

The game against Mikel Arteta’s side is an important one and if United get a win at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, then it will change the title race picture. Kick off between the two sides is at 4.30pm UK time on Sunday.
