United Women Announce Three New Signings

Manchester United Women have made three new signings, Jayde Riviere, Estelle Cascarino and Lisa Naalsund.

Jayde Riviere

United’s first signing of the January transfer window is Jayde Riviere, who is a Canadian international defender and is 21 years old.

In such a short space of time Riviere has done a lot in her career so far, making her full international debut aged 16, being apart of the gold winning Olympic team in 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.

She has also won two silver CONCACAF medals. her reaction to signing for United was that it is a “dream come true.”

As she said “I am a huge Manchester United fan, so this is a dream come true for me to sign here.” [Man Utd]

Estelle Cascarino

The second signing of the window is Estelle Cascarino who is coming on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25 year old has won two division 1 titles and two French Cups so far in her career, she made her full debut for the French national team in 2017.

The former Olympique Lyon loanee spoke about her play style as she said “On the pitch I am a fighter and I like to help the team in both attack and defence” [Man Utd]

Lisa Naalsund

The most recent signing that was made yesterday was the signing of Lisa Naalsund from SK Brann, where she won two league titles.

The 27 year old has played at international level from the age of 15 for Norway. She is a box to box midfielder who gives one hundred per cent, United fans can expect blood sweat and tears from her as she leaves everything out on the field.

Speaking about Manchester United as a club she said “Manchester United is a great football club and I’m very excited to be here. The club is full of nice people and I’m really looking forward to playing in front of the amazing fans.” [Man Utd]
