The Manchester United players have been prepping themselves for the second instalment of the Manchester United against Leeds United fixture as the two sides meet each other once again, this time at Elland Road, following the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

United will be looking to return back to winning ways, and despite not getting the victory that they would have wanted at Old Trafford, there was a positive but focused mood at the training ground as the players were pictured training at Carrington.

With United’s squad stretched, which saw a total of seven first-team players miss the game against Leeds United on Wednesday, Erik ten Hag offered a quartet of Bjorn Hardley, Mateo Mejia, Noam Emeran and Sam Murray an opportunity to train with the first-team and show him what they can do.

Kobbie Mainoo, who penned a new long-term deal with the club was seen making his way on to the training pitches alongside Alejandro Garnacho at the training complex in what would have been a special day for the talented 17-year-old.

Casemiro, who missed the game against Leeds at Old Trafford as served the first of his three game ban due to a red card against Crystal Palace, was pictured by the photographer at the training complex as he looks to keep himself ticking over ahead of his return, which could be against Barcelona in the Europa League on the 16th of February at the Nou Camp.

Harry Maguire, Facundo Pellistri and Tyrell Malacia were among those that took part in the training session as the trio did not start the game against the Whites at the Theatre of Dreams, so they will be hoping to train well and impress the manager in an attempt to force their way into the starting XI.

Jadon Sancho, fresh from scoring an equaliser against the Yorkshire outfit was captured competing against Maguire as the intensity levels remained high.

Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford started the game on Wednesday and the duo were pictured doing their recovery session as they look to get themselves ready for what will be another important game for United in their quest to finish inside the top four.

Man United and Leeds United will do battle once again at Elland Road, with the game scheduled to kick off at 2pm on Sunday.
