Manchester United go into the game against Leeds buoyed by an important 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday as they boosted their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League, and judging by the images from Carrington it looks as though the players are primed to take on Leeds at Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho was seen training with his team-mates, and the Englishman will be pushing for a start having made his first appearance for Erik ten Hag’s side during the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the second leg of the Carabao Cup, and also because of the news that Antony will miss the game against the Whites, who will be managed by under-21s coach, Michael Skubala following the sacking of Jesse Marsh on Monday [Leeds United].

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof both came on in the 87th minute in the win over the Eagles to help United see out the closing stages and secure all three points and the duo will be hoping that they have done enough in training to warrant a start for the Reds tomorrow against Leeds at the Theatre of Dreams.

There was also positive news on the injury front as the training pictures show that Diogo Dalot, who was seen sprinting in one of the training exercises, has returned to training as he missed the game against the South London outfit because of injury.

The game between United and Leeds kicks off at 8pm UK time, however, for those in the UK, the game will not be shown live on TV, which is a shame because this fixture is a significant one for both clubs historically and presently.
