A couple of days ago, here on Vital Manchester United, we covered the ongoing situation of two players who spent the season out on loan.

Our article – manchester-united-will-not-sanction-loan-deals-for-these-two-players – implied that Manchester United would not sanction further loan deals for Chris Smalling and Alexis Sanchez, at Roma and Inter Milan respectively.

Today, it would appear that for Sanchez, the future could set to be determined.

According to Football Italia, Inter Milan are looking to do a deal with the Old Trafford hierarchy that would see the Chilean international remain at Milan with the 31-year-old Croatian midfielder, Ivan Perisic, coming to Old Trafford.

It’s one of those deals you are either for or against, personally, I’d accept it but what are your views on the subject matter.

Please feel free to air your views on this piece of speculation in the comment facility beneath this article.

Would you be for it or against it?

  • As a die heart man u fan.i think is a better biznes.bcos if u think of sanchez position in man . couple of players has filled d position . likes of Rashford . greenwood etc.
we need an experienced right back.so perisick
Is d right person fr d position.

  • Silly idea. Should not happen and will not happen. Perisic is 31 and he’s not Messi or Ronaldo. We already have plenty of young LWs. Would’ve been a good deal 2 seasons back when it almost happened. But now, it is pointless. Sell Sanchez for 20+m. And add money to Sancho piggy bank.

  • Not sure what success is on about; a die heart fan (!) – obviously not a fan of Manchester United FC.

It would be good business to get shot of Sanchez, but not for Perisic. There are other players in the Inter Milan squad that should be considered; Milan Skriniar (left footed centre back) or Marcelo Brozovic (defensive midfielder)

  • If it means getting sanchez off the books and we dont give perisic a silly deal then it makes sense to get rid of sanchez. We save maybe £500.000 per week from his wages. Go for it.
