Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 with Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst and Bruno Fernandes all being on the scoresheet.
United made three changes to the 11 that got beat 3-2 on Sunday by Arsenal with Luke Shaw, Raphaël Varane and Scott McTominay all being replaced by Tyrell Malacia, Victor Lindelöf and Casemiro.
Six minutes into the game Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for United from a great solo run from his half as four Forest defenders could not get near him, and he used his weak foot to put the shot past Wayne Hennessey in goal.

In the Eighth minute, Antony cut inside and shot from outside the box with the shot going close to the Forest goal.
After 2o minutes the home side’s chance came as Sam Surridge thought he had scored but was ruled out by VAR because his knee was offside.
Brennan Johnson had two solid chances one saved by David De Gea and the other over the bar after getting past three United players, as Forest were still looking for the breakthrough on the counterattack.
Antony, Weghorst and Fernandes had some great link-up play as the Brazilian got a shot on goal but was saved by Hennessey.
Wout Weghorst made it two just before halftime through a loose save from the Forest keeper.
Morgan Gibbs White had an effort that he blasted over the bar in the second half as Steve Cooper’s side were not creating as many chances in the first.

United made it three in the 89th minute from an Anthony Elanga chip pass to Fernandes who struck the ball through Scott Mckenna’s legs and into the goal which the United faithful were behind.
Manchester United next take on Nottingham Forest in the second leg of the Semi-Finals next Wednesday at 8’oclock, as Erik Ten Hag and his team will look to book their place in the final at Wembley.
