Manchester United Midfielder Linked With A Move To Tottenham Hotspur

|

The domestic summer transfer window closes on 01-October.

Between now and then it would not surprise me if Jesse Lingard were to leave Manchester United.

Yesterday, with Manchester United slipping to a disastrous 3-1 home defeat, at the hands of Crystal Palace, the 27-year-old midfielder did not even make the substitutes bench.

But where could be the England internationals next destination?

According to The Daily Star, we need to look no further than Tottenham Hotspur.

Seemingly, Jose Mourinho is keen to be reunited with a player he had under his control when the Special One was in charge at Old Trafford.

Furthermore, our referenced source is implying that a fee, said to be in the region of £30 million, could be coming Manchester United’s way, a fee that could be used to strengthen the squad.

My view is that Lingard fits into that category of players that, in his younger days, promised so much but has seen his career stall.

But is that a view you concur with?
