Manchester United Goalkeeper Set For La Liga Move

|

When it comes to Sergio Romero it is hard not to feel sympathy for the Argentine goalkeeper.

Any opportunity he has been given to play between the posts, I would suggest he has never let the team down and has always performed admirably.

But, with Dean Henderson now back at the club and challenging David de Gea for the keepers’ journey, Romero suddenly finds himself even further down the pecking order.

At 33-years-of-age, Romero wants and probably deserves, regular first-team football.

Therefore, it has come as no surprise that the The Mirror is implying that Sergio could, before the transfer window slams shut, be heading for the Old Trafford exit.

Our referenced source is inferring that a move to Valencia, with the La Liga club willing to pay a transfer fee of £6 million, could be on the cards.

If that is the case it is hard to see any reason why Romero would not be prepared to make the switch.

Here at Vital Manchester United, we will keep our ears and eyes open and report back if / when the deal is officially announced.
