Manchester United Defender Has Two Options When It Comes To A Transfer

|

Yesterday, here at Vital Manchester United, we reported on how a deal that would see Chris Smalling leave Old Trafford, permanently, was almost done.

Our article – manchester-united-defenders-future-set-to-be-finally-decided – covered the probability that Roma, where the 30-year-old spent last season on loan, was his most likely destination.

However, it appears that the Serie A side are also interested in signing another Manchester United player and would like to do something akin to a double deal with The Sun, implying that the club from the eternal city wants to sign our Portuguese right-back, Diogo Dalot.

But any such deal for the 21-year-old fringe player might not be that straight forward with our aforementioned source also reporting that Dalot is engaged in talks with another Serie A club, AC Milan.

Obviously, as long as the fee is right, Dalot is free to choose where he next furthers his career, but it looks to be a difficult choice for the defender.

Here at Vital Manchester United, we will endeavour to report back further as deemed necessary.
