As Fabrizio Romano has reported Elanga as well as Facundo Pellistri are both waiting for Manchester United to make a decision whether to keep the duo or send them out on loan or in Elanga’s case a possible permanent deal to central Germany.
The Swedish international has played 13 times for Erik Ten Hag this season and has one assist, starting some of those games as an out and out striker and the rest in his usual position on the wing. [transfermarkt]
Where Would Elanga Fit in at Borussia Dortmund?
United’s number 36 would have to fight for his place if he was to move to Borussia Dortmund with Karim Adeyemi, Donyell Malen,Youssoufa Moukoko and Giovanni Reyna all being able to occupy the wings when needed.
However, Dortmund are known for giving younger players a chance and if one of the wingers already at the club were to depart Elanga would take their place as a back up winger, eventually to look at getting into the starting 11.
Many United fans think Elanga is not Manchester United quality so do you think this move would suit him?
