Diogo Dalot has been recorded as the fastest Manchester United player in the Premier League this season.
The United right-back, who is enjoying an excellent start to the season has recorded the fifth quickest speed of 35.8km/h in the league this season, which is extremely impressive for a defender.

Anthony Gordon is top of the tree with an impressive speed of 36.6 km/h, which has pitted him just ahead of his Merseyside rival, Darwin Nunez, who recorded a speed of 36.5 km/h.
In third and four place is Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli are the two players who are ahead of the United full-back.
This means that Dalot is also the quickest defender in the competition and it also shows that his sprinting time is quicker than his United team-mates, despite the team having a lot of players who are quick, particularly during transition moments.
This statistic just further highlights how much Dalot’s game has improved, which is a testament to the work the Portuguese has been putting in behind the scenes, and it is all paying off right now.
Dalot has made 20 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side this season [Transfermarkt.com], and he scored his first goal of the season in the UEFA Europa League against Sheriff Tiraspol at the Theatre of Dreams.

As the World Cup is currently taking place, it means that Diogo Dalot is away with Portugal in Qatar, and the right-back was an unused substitute for his nation as they defeated Ghana 3-2 in their opening goal of the tournament.
Dalot has shown that he is a capable modern full back, who can get up and down the pitch and he will be hoping to feature for Portugal as they look to progress far in football’s biggest competition.
