The FA Cup draw Man United could get

|

After Manchester United confirmed their spot in the fifth-round of the Emirates FA Cup, many supporters will be wondering when is the draw for the next round.

United beat Reading 3-1 at Old Trafford to advance to the Last 16 stage of the FA Cup and the draw will take place on Monday 30th January during The One Show on BBC One from 7pm UK time.

The fourth-round saw one big Premier League side go out in Arsenal as Mikel Arteta’s men lost 1-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Friday night, so United will not face Arsenal.

The fifth-round ties will be played from Wednesday 1st March, and providing that United get through to the Carabao Cup final at Wembley, which is on the 26th February, it means that the FA Cup clash will be pencilled in between the potential final and United’s game against arch-rivals Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday 5th March.

United do have a game scheduled on the 26th February, which is against Brentford in the Premier League, however, with United in a strong position to advance to the final, given that they are 3-0 up from the first-leg against Nottingham Forest, it is likely that the game against the Bees will be postponed and a new date will need to be found.

Aside from United, there are five Premier League sides who have confirmed their breath in the fifth-round as Leicester beat Walsall 1-0, Tottenham beat Preston 3-0 at Deepdale, whilst both Leeds and Southampton recorded victories in the fourth-round as they saw off Accrington Stanley and Blackpool respectively. As written above, City are the other side who made it through to the Last 16 as they beat the Gunners on Friday night.
