United Striker Not Sure Where His Future Lies Anymore

|

Last season, Romelu Lukaku justified the huge fee Manchester United paid to secure his services.

This season, the 25-year-old Belgian international striker hasn’t seen things quite go his way.

Romelu hasn’t been so prolific when it comes to scoring and against Arsenal in midweek, he had a rude awakening when he was left out of the starting eleven that eventually scrambled a draw against the in-form Gunners.

This morning, as we prepare to take on bottom-of-the-table Fulham, we awake to some disturbing news.

According to the tabloid publication, the Sun, Lukaku is considering his future at Old Trafford with our aforementioned source inferring he is becoming increasingly frustrated with Jose Mourinho.

Now we have no idea as to whether the foundations to this story are solid or whether the tabloid has made a mountain out of a molehill, but if Lukaku is considering whether his future, long-term, is at Old Trafford, we’d urge him to hang on in there.

Managers, as we all know, come and go, but top-notch strikers are a rarity.
