Loyal Manchester United Defender Set For A Summer Move

|

At 33-years-of-age, it is probably fair to say that Antonio Valencia doesn’t feature in the long-term plans of Manchester United.

The player, signed from Wigan Athletic, has been a tremendous servant to the club, firstly plying out wide as a winger and then converting, successfully, to becoming one of the best right-backs in the country.

But time stands still for no man and, here at Vital Manchester United, we wouldn’t be surprised if Valencia moved on come the opening of the summer transfer window.

One possible destination, according to the media source, the Sun, is West Ham United.

The Hammers, under the managerial acumen of Manuel Pellegrini, are looking to add to their squad and our referenced source believes a move for Valencia is on the cards.

But, after spending most of his career in the north-west, is a move to London something that appeals to Valencia?

I guess only time will tell.
