United Striker Dealt Another Savage Blow

|

When Manchester United decided that adding Alexis Sanchez to the squad would be a good move, I doubt that you’ll find any Manchester United supporter who, at the time, would have disagreed with the decision.

Available on a free transfer, after his contract with Arsenal expired, the Chilean had shown, time and time again, that he was one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Sanchez’s game wasn’t just about the goals he scored but also his unique ability to create chances for others with his subtle touches and neat skills.

The only downside relating to the deal was the fact that as a free transfer, Manchester United had to commit to a huge salary for his services.

However, his time at Old Trafford hasn’t gone as we’d all hoped.

Apart from a few flashes of brilliance, Sanchez has struggled to find the form that made Manchester United so keen to sign him.

As a result, his appearances as a regular in the Manchester United starting eleven have tailed off.

Yesterday, matters went from bad to worse when it was announced that the Chilean was ruled out for two months after being diagnosed with media ligament damage.

It seems that some moves are just destined not to work!
