Was it a bit of healthy banter or is there a problem between two of the most expensive buys in Manchester United history?
It’s a question that has arisen after Manchester United’s 3-2 win, against Southampton, on Saturday.
According to the news source, the Sun, there was, following the final whistle, a dressing room confrontation between Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba.
It seems that Lukaku took umbrage at Pogba seizing the ball to take a late penalty that had been awarded.
Lukaku, who had already scored a brace in the victory, was of the opinion that he deserved the chance to take the spot-kick wanting to score a hat-trick.
Pogba, as we all know, failed to score from the spot, something, given his own demands, Lukaku wasn’t too pleased with.
Now we’re not too sure of the severity of the dressing room row but here at Vital Manchester United, we’d hope it has all been smoothed over and the duo have kissed and made up, we can’t afford to have any friction in the camp as we look to finish the season strongly and, hopefully, claim some silverware and a top-four place.
