Manchester United are interested in signing Napoli defender Kim Min Jae for 50 million euros.
According to Calciomercato United have added the South Korean to the top of their transfer list with his release clause at the Italian club being 50 million euros.

Min Jae impressed with his country in the World Cup most recently where he played in three of the four games that the Asian country played in the tournament, however, he, unfortunately, did miss out on being a part of the starting 11 and substitutes that came on when South Korea beat Portugal 2-1 in the last game of Group H.
South Korea were knocked out in the round of 16 to one of the favourites Brazil and were beaten 4-1 with Min Jae playing. The Napoli number four has been part of their success so far this season with the Italian club being top of Serie A at the moment.
Including all competitions and mid-season friendlies, Luciano Spalletti’s side have played 25 games and won 22 of them, two of those games were in mid-season friendlies where the team were not at full strength.
The other game was against the 2018 Champions League winners Liverpool who won 2-0 at Anfield at the start of November. Kim Min Jae and his blue and white defence have also kept eight clean sheets in those 25 games.

He made his big break at Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan where he played for four seasons and then moved to Turkish side Fenerbahçe where he impressed and earnt his move to Southern Italy in the summer for around 18 million euros.
He would fit into manager Erik Ten Hag’s defence very well and would give Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez competition for their places which has not happened yet during their time at Old Trafford.
The signing of the 26-year-old could also indicate the outgoing of either Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelöf at United with them both being backup centre-backs.
