With so many first team players away playing for their countries at the World Cup, this camp gives the United manager and his coaching staff an opportunity to thoroughly look at the youngsters in the Manchester United academy, as well as those who are on the fringes of the first team.

Nine players (Jurado, Oyedele, Murray, Fredricson, Hansen, Gore, Garnacho, Hugill and McNeill) [manutd.com] who were part of the 2022 FA Youth Cup winning side are part of the training camp in Spain and all nine will be hoping to catch the manager’s attention during the training sessions and the two friendlies that United have pencilled in.
