Manchester United are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani according to French news outlet L’equipe.

L’equipe have reported that United are preparing a 60 million euros bid for France forward. United are looking to get an out-and-out striker this transfer window following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Al Nassr.

Kolo Muani started his career at Ligue 1 club Nantes in the under-19s before moving to the senior team in 2017, he then went on loan to US Boulogne for one season.

After his loan, he stayed at Nantes for three seasons and then made the move over to the Bundesliga in Germany where he went for a fee of around 16 million euros.

Aged 24 and mainly operating as a centre forward, Kolo Muani has played 14 times in the Bundesliga this season scoring five and assisting 10 goals.[transfermarkt]

With his great start to this season and playing well in his last season at Nantes, earned him a call-up to the French national team for the World Cup in Qatar.

He featured in three of the seven games France played in the World Cup, with the only game him starting being a 1-0 loss to Tunisia in the last Group game for Les Bleus.

Coming off the bench in the first half for Ousmane Dembele, Kolo Muani made a big difference to the game as he kept the belief in the France team and earned the first penalty as he was brought down by Nicolas Otamendi which Kylian Mbappe converted as France completed a comeback but lost on penalties to Argentina in the final.

United need a striker who can press, and be physical with defenders but someone who can also run in behind, it seems like Kolo Muani would be the best player for Erik Ten Hag to play upfront.

Do you think Manchester United should go after Randal Kolo Muani?
