It’s amazing how things can change so quickly in such a short space of time.
Just a few weeks ago, with Jose Mourinho sat in the managerial hot-seat, speculation was rife that at least two of our squad, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, were looking to further their careers elsewhere.
The French duo had become disenchanted with life under Mourinho and a move perhaps seemed the best option.
But that is far from being the case now.
The two players, now under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer in his role as caretaker manager, have regained their mojo and now look world-beaters once again.
To that effect, the tabloid publication the Sun, is reporting that 25-year-old Pogba, far from wanting to leave the club, is now prepared to sit down and enter talks with the Manchester United hierarchy regarding a contract extension.
Similarly, the news source, ESPN, are reporting that 23-year-old Anthony Martial is also well down the path to agreeing to a new deal.
