United Face Fight To Land Sporting Director

|

As the club looks to reshape for the future.

The word on the street and as confirmed by several news sources including the Sun, is that Manchester United, before they announce who will be the next incumbent of the managerial hot-seat on a permanent basis, will appoint a sporting director.

One name that had been mentioned as a suitable placement to kick-start the next chapter in the history of our fine club was Paul Mitchell.

Mitchell has, courtesy of his work, enhanced his reputation and Manchester United were being mentioned as a possible destination for his next career move.

However, according to our aforementioned source, RB Leipzig are doing everything they can to avoid losing their man, including preparing to offer Mitchell a new contract to ward off the reputed interest from Old Trafford.

But, it remains to be seen whether our apparent interest could lure Mitchell away from the Bundesliga and to the Premier League.
