Reading team news for United clash

|

Reading travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United in the fourth round of the FA Cup as they look to cause an upset at the home of the 13-time Premier League winners, and this article will look at the Royals team news for the clash against United.

Reading, who are currently in 14th place in the Championship but are just five points off the play-off spots, are without four players for the cup match at the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday night, however, the Royals right-back, Kelvin Abrefa should be available for selection.

However, former Newcastle United and West Ham United striker, Andy Carroll will require a late fitness test to determine whether he can feature against United after he hurt his ankle [via Man Utd].

The four players that are missing for Ince’s side are Sam Hutchinson (Achilles), Liam Moore (hamstring) and Naby Sarr (foot) and Dejan Tetek is also on the sidelines [via Man Utd].

Ince will be hoping that the players who are fit and available will be able to give a good account of themsleves as not only will they want to perform on a big stage but they will want to put a performance in after they suffered a 4-0 defeat to Stoke City in the Championship last weekend at the Bet 365 stadium.

The game between Man United and Reading gets underway at Old Trafford on Saturday night at 8pm UK time. For those who are in the UK, and want to watch the game, then they can head over to ITV Sport as they are showing the game.
