Opinion: I Can’t Helping Thinking England International Has Turned Down A Chance In A Lifetime In Not Joining United

Just a matter of days ago, here at Vital Manchester United, we welcomed the speculation linking the Leicester City midfielder James Maddison with a move to Old Trafford.

In our article, Click Here our enthusiasm bubbled over at the prospect of Maddison leaving the Foxes to join Manchester United.

However, it would appear that the 22-year-old England international doesn’t share the same feelings.

According to the Daily Mail Maddison has no intention of leaving Leicester City to join either us or another club papers link him with. Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked recently.

It would seem that having joined Leicester City from Norwich City last summer the talented playmaker is quite happy where he is and is obviously enjoying life at the King Power Stadium under the managerial acumen of Brendan Rodgers.

If that is the case then I can only admire his stance in a game where loyalty appears to belong to a bygone era.

However, I wonder if he does stay at Leicester City whether, someday in the future, he’ll regret not taking the plunge this summer and move to one of the big-six of English football?
