If one news source has its facts correct.
According to The Mirror, the Old Trafford hierarchy has agreed on terms with the Porto full-back, Alex Telles.
Telles, a 27-year-old international defender, has, as our referenced source is championing, agreed to terms for a five-year deal and his arrival could be imminent.
However, before we all do a mini jig of delight, I feel obliged to also announce that another source, this time from Portugal, Ojogo.pt, implies that Manchester United have serious competition for the player with Paris Saint-Germain having stepped up their interest to sign the defender.
I have my fingers crossed in the hope that Manchester United can get this deal across the line as Telles would bring that little something extra to our starting eleven.
But that is only my opinion, please feel free to share yours in the comment facility beneath this article.

Comment ahh for me signing alex telles will not be the solution to man utd.there must be competition in our attacking so that we can be title contenders
Pls glazers sacked woodward is nt doing business at all imagine we wanted to sign .Gebreal, thiago, regulion, bale, haaland, billingham, and sancho but now he didn’t sign any of them
Why manchaste management they will distrowen edwwodward
We need a centre back and a right winger
Ed Woodward need to do something for the sake of the funs we as funs are getting tired of this board members
As a Man United fan, it is hurting to see our once great club, so dominant as we were known to be playing second fiddle to even teams like Spurs. May be the vision of the club changed when the ownership changed. We have now assumed a new role as sporting directors for other clubs.
Dragging on with Sancho has been very frustrating yet there are many players who can cost us a quarter of Sancho’s bill. I think what Eddy should do is to explain the club’s motives to the fans so that we can put little demands on the team well knowing where they are heading.
If they did not sign more payers, i don’t see them making first 4, and won’t get anywhere in the champions league, very poor management.
If it is easy for afance to change club , i would change because poor transfer business all season
I would like to telles at utd but ed woodward should leave the club coz he is all behind these
I would like to see telles at utd but ed woodward should leave the club coz he is all behind these
Sat here watching United and the defence is dreadful. Woodward out Glazers out. Paid 40 million for a player to sit on the bench. You’re killing our club
The market is still all about BTC at the moment. Current investors should take advantage of Ron Schmidt’s program. I profited, 16,000$ in 3 weeks of trading. I highly recommend: vertexschmidt@gmail.com
Im sorry to say it but i am not buying another man utd shirt till the horrible owners start investing in the club? I hate to say it but if all fans did the same they would soon take notice? Im not lining the money robbing cu+ts pockets anymore?? Glazers get out of my f-ing club now
Manchester united are playing below expectations
Fuck dead wood word…
Ed Woodward is a failure n he is the one behind all the loop holes at man utd coz the board allocates budget every transfer window to sign good players but he doesn’t utilize now tell me for how long shall we continue in this mess n the blame also goes to Glazer family for lack of commitment n if possible let them sell the club to a willing body
Telles contributes only to attack, manutd should sign a more defensive player
What a shame Edward has changed man u to another thing can’t be surprise wen palace get the victory, buy players man u board didn’t want to buy that is what them disserve no more story to tell
I agree with all the above. Woodhead and the Glazers are busy gutting the club for their own financial reasons. Can they not be voted out?
Also, you may have noted that since Rashford has delved into politics and social welfare, whilst they could be commendable ventures, his footballing has gone down the toilet. He must realize that the club pays him 200k per week to play football not make a name for himself in some other area at their expense. He is actually now in the same bracket as Lindelof, McTominay, Fosu Mensah, James and Maguire.
Woodward is the one to blame
