As we have already indicated today, the failure to, as it currently stands, to land the Borussia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho, has left us scrummaging around for an alternative.
Our earlier feature – manchester-united-linked-with-senegalese-striker – covered the press speculation linking the club with a move for the Watford player, Ismaila Sarr.
But the speculation relating to an alternative purchase does not end there.
According to ESPN there are another three names in the frame with the trio being Ivan Perisic (Inter Milan), Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich) and Douglas Costa (Juventus).
Of those three, I would prefer Manchester United to pursue their interest in the 24-year-old French international Coman.
Perisic at 31-years-of-age and Costa at 30-years-of-age, do not fit our current transfer profile and should be ruled out.
