Luton Town v Manchester United – Carabao Cup – Team News

|

After the disappointment of losing at home, to Crystal Palace, in our opening fixture of the 2020 / 2021 Premier League season, Manchester United have an excellent chance of getting back to winning ways this evening.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has taken his team to Bedfordshire for a 3rd round Carabao Cup fixture, at Kenilworth Road, against the Championship side, Luton Town.

But while it may look a comfortable tie on paper, Solskjaer will be perfectly aware that Luton Town have started the season well, winning all four competitive fixtures they have featured in.

This will be the first time the two clubs have met in a competitive fixture for 28-years and with it being played behind-closed-doors, we are thankful Sky Sports have chosen this game for live coverage this evening.

With the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring you the team-sheets:

Luton Town:

Manchester United:

Nothing less than a win will do for Manchester United tonight, even if it comes via a penalty shoot-out with the scores level after ninety minutes, otherwise, the mainstream media will have a field day.
