January Could Be The Crunch Month For Jose Mourinho

|

Could we be approaching a critical period in the managerial career of Jose Mourinho, at Manchester United?

It’s fair to say that the improvement we expected this season hasn’t been forthcoming.

Instead of challenging for the Premier League title, we find ourselves some 18 points behind the current leaders, Manchester City.

If we slip to defeat against Liverpool, today, then we will be 19 points adrift.

Already there are noises coming out of Old Trafford that suggest Jose Mourinho wants a transfer kitty to spend in the January transfer window, with the boss harping on about the lack of a world-class central defender in his side.

But, according to the news vehicle, the Guardian, Jose isn’t quite sure whether the club will give him the backing he wants in the January transfer window.

If Jose doesn’t get what he wants, there could be a situation that develops whereby Jose adds Manchester United to the list of clubs he’s managed for less then three seasons before leaving.

Like we said earlier, January could be a crunch month.
