I’d Leave Well Alone And Look Elsewhere United Especially For That Kind Of Money

|

So, how does this one grab you, folks?

Here at Vital Manchester United, over the last few days, we’ve been watching the ongoing saga relating to the future of the Leicester City centre-back, Harry Maguire.

Our last offering on the subject claimed that united-were-set-to-lose-out-in-the-race-for-centre-back-to-you-know-who, with ‘you-know-who’ being Manchester City.

However, as we’ve come to realise, things can change very quickly when it comes to transfer speculation.

Far from being wanted by Manchester City it now transpires, according to 90 minutes, that Manchester City are not prepared to meet Leicester City’s asking price which, according to The Telegraph, is a mind-blowing £90 million.

Our first source claims that City’s reluctance to pay Leicester’s asking price has left the road clear for Manchester United to swoop and complete a deal for the 26-year-old England international.

But, bearing in mind, Maguire has expressed an option to play for Manchester City as opposed to United, as reported by The Express, would you be happy to see United splash that sort of cash on Maguire?

I certainly wouldn’t, for that kind of money I’d prefer the club to look elsewhere and sign somebody who has a burning desire to pull on our famous red shit.

Is that a viewpoint you agree with or do you feel differently?

They want more than 75 million. That it no means suggest that they are demanding 90 million. They want a world record bid and that’s it. Offer 76 million and they will take it.

Leicester wants more money. Maguire wants Man City. It’s not good music to my ears. Better get Issa Diop and Ruben Diaz.

you don’t sign a player set to love another club despite being free to move. don’t him united.

    we dont want him.
    axel will prove us right

  • David Ojo Samuel says:

I think this has happened in the past, I don’t see reason why we have to waste so much money on a player who doesn’t have the flair or the love of the club, we must acquire a player that really want the club’s glory and not a player who set his mind on the fees or have his mind somewhere else. This is united.
