An Outrageous Suggestion Surfaces Regarding A Possible Manchester United Signing

|

With social distancing making it highly unlikely any of us, if the 2019 / 2020 season does ever resume, will get the chance to watch football anywhere other than on the television, spirits are being kept high by focussing on transfer speculation.

One piece of transfer tittle-tattle that has been doing the rounds for several weeks surrounds the possibility of Manchester United signing the highly-rated Aston Villa playmaker, Jack Grealish.

Our view is that such a deal will only stand a chance of being completed if Aston Villa fail to retain their Premier League status this season and even then, such a deal will cost Manchester United a pretty sum.

However, while flicking through various news sources this morning, I stumbled across a strange insinuation.

Lurking in the pages of The Birmingham Mail, is the inference that if Manchester United are successful in signing the 24-year-old then they intend to play Grealish out on the right-wing!

Now quite where they get that little bit of information from, I’m puzzled.

If Grealish does become a Manchester United player I believe he’ll be given a role just behind the striker whereby he can use his skills to run at defences whilst also providing those defence-splitting passes he’s quite capable of.

How about you?
