The future of Jadon Sancho continues to generate more than its fair share of media column inches.
Every time I take time to dive into the media something else catches my eye.
Our last coverage of the situation – a-proposed-transfer-deal-involving-manchester-united-is-set-to-take-a-huge-twist – implied a deal was getting closer to being concluded.
However, today, it appears that Borussia Dortmund are not prepared to lose the 20-year-old without a huge fight.
According to Forbes, the Bundesliga outfit are looking at offering Sancho a kings-ransom when it comes to enticing the winger to stay in the Bundesliga by offering the player a huge pay rise.
Hopefully, when it comes to his future, Sancho will be more interested in his ambitions within the game as opposed to how much cash he can earn, although we do accept that the financial side of any deal must be acceptable to the player.
We can only wait and see.
