A Draw Was More Than Most Expected Last Night We Should Point Out

|

Last night, at Old Trafford, Manchester United battled to a 2-2 draw against Arsenal.

It’s fair to say that it was a thrilling encounter with Jose Mourinho’s side coming from behind twice to take a share of the spoils.

Unfortunately, the draw still leaves Manchester United sitting in eighth place in the Premier League table, some 18 points behind the current league leaders and our near rivals Manchester City.

But, although the draw wasn’t quite what we hoped for, it seems, according to our poll asking you to predict the outcome of the game, it was more than most were expecting.

When the poll was closed, 50% of the votes, obviously influenced by Arsenal’s fine run of recent form and our dip in form, tipped Arsenal to win, whereas only 33% thought Mourinho’s side would win this game.

As for the remaining 17% of the votes cast, they got it spot on predicting the draw.

Thank you all for participating, it is greatly appreciated.
