With Manchester United appearing to be a club in turmoil, seven defeats in nine matches is definitely not how we perceived the club going forward, questions are being asked as to who will be leaving the club in the summer and who might be brought in to turn the good ship United around.
However, speculation continues to appear in the media that suggest a player nobody wants to see leave Old Trafford, a player that we perceive is part of our long-term future, could be lured away from the Premier League before the start of next season.
The player in question being none other than Marcus Rashford.
Today, once again, the media, and in particular, the Daily Mail, are reporting how Barcelona are intent on taking the 21-year-old to the Bernabeu this summer.
The latest offering from the media is that the Catalan giants are prepared to offer well in excess of £100 million to secure Rashford’s services.
Will any offer receive short shrift from Manchester United or are we in a situation where such a drastic overhaul is needed some crazy decisions just might be made?
