Were Manchester United Right To Sack Mourinho – You Decide

|

Midway through his third season, with Manchester United, the board have taken the decision to axe Jose Mourinho.

The ‘Special One’ has been axed after Manchester United’s worst ever start to a Premier League season, but has the board made the right decision?

Since arriving at Old Trafford, in his first season with the club he stuck some silverware in the trophy cabinet, winning the League Cup and the Europa League.

In his second season, he guided the club to the FA Cup Final only losing, courtesy of an Eden Hazard penalty, to his former club, Chelsea.

In both of the two seasons he completed, he ensured Old Trafford would stage Champions League football.

When it comes to his win percentage, when it comes to games, his record – 58.33% – can only be bettered, in recent times, by that of Sir Alex Ferguson – 59.67%

But, all that means nothing when the demand for success is all consuming at a top club.

Sitting sixth in the Premier League table, 19 points adrift of the leaders Liverpool and with it looking like the only way Old Trafford is going to stage Champions League football next season is to win the competition this season, the board decided now was the time for a change.

But, is it a decision you concur with?

Please take time out to vote in our latest poll which asks a question relating to that very question.

Time will tell but Mourinho is right United carries on without Mou and Mou can carry on without United..No love lost….It is only obvious that the present united can only go so far and Mou saw that quite a while back…Christmas coming big money could be his so he gambled ..Guess what happened a couple of Million and life carries on…
United are sitting with a problem that it will cost more than a couple of players that they could get rid of..
Although the problem does not lie only Mou and the players so this has been manufactured to what at the THE COACH IS ALWAYS AT FAULT…
