United manager reveals that United have a plan to deal with suspension

|

Erik ten Hag previewed Manchester United’s game against Arsenal on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, which kicks off at 4.30pm UK time, and the United manager said that his side have a plan to deal with Casemiro’s suspension.ย

Casemiro will be suspended for the game against Arsenal as he has picked up five yellow cards. The incident occurred in the second half as he fouled Wilfred Zaha.

However, ten Hag said that he is confident that his side will be able to cope without their influential midfielder as he told reporters that United have beaten Arsenal this season without the Brazilian.

โ€œLast time we beat Arsenal without Casemiro, so we have an idea of how to do it.โ€

The reason as to why losing Casemiro is a big blow for United is because not only does he offer defensive protection, but his overall game helps those around him as ever since making his first start at Goodison Park against Everton back in October, United have only lost once when the United number 18 has started, which shows just how important he is.

Nevertheless, it is encouraging to hear that ten Hag said that United have a plan because it shows that he has prepared for every eventuality, which is important because United must be adaptable and under this manager, United have become that.
