Yesterday evening, Manchester United dropped the photos that United fans had been waiting for as Jadon Sancho was pictured training with the first-team squad since the World Cup.

Sancho looked in good spirits as he trained at a bitterly cold Carrington, which is great to see because it shows that he is in a good mental and physical headspace and his return will feel like United have signed a new player.

The United number 25 has not featured for the club since that 1-1 draw with Chelsea at the end of October and back in November, he was sent to the Netherlands to work on aspects of his game with coaches that were recommended by Erik ten Hag [Vital United].
Sancho was not part of the United squad that travelled to Spain because he was working on an individual training programme that will allow him to do his work away from the spotlight and this was something that was agreed by the United manager.
The boss was asked about why Sancho was not included in the Spain trip and the Dutchman said that,ย โHeโs not fit enough. Sometimes there are circumstances with fitness and mood. Now heโs on a physical programme and our aim is to get him back as quickly as possibleโ [The Athletic].
Now United have got him back, the next step for him will be to get match intensity and games under his belt because if he starts performing like he did at the start of the season, where he scored twice in United’s opening five games, then that will give United a great opportunity to build on the positive season that ten Hag’s side are having right now.
Let's keep this going, Sanch ๐

It is unlikely that Sancho will feature for United in the game against Arsenal on Sunday because ten Hag will not want to rush him back, which is the right thing to do.
