United Looking To Strengthen Their Squad By Acquiring A PSG Outcast

|

By some strange quirk of fate, the biggest piece of transfer speculation we’ve uncovered today, links Manchester United with the acquisition of somebody who is on the books of our Champions League opponents tonight, Paris Saint Germain.

According to the tabloid publication, the Mirror, Manchester United have become the latest club to express an interest in Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot, 23-years-of-age, is a gifted midfielder who, according to our source, is also interesting Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona.

However, if anyone is looking to catch a glimpse of the player at Old Trafford tonight, they are likely to be disappointed.

Rabiot is, currently, out-of-favour with the French side and hasn’t played since appearing as a second half substitute away to Red Star Belgrade, in December 2018.

It appears Rabiot has fallen out-of-favour at Paris Saint-Germain courtesy of his contract expiring at the end of this season and with the player having no inclination to sign a new one.

Now whether, if Paris Saint-Germain and the player cannot agree on a new deal, Manchester United can secure his services in the face of stiff competition remains to be seen but, here at Vital Manchester United, we’re of the view Rabiot would bring some depth to a squad that expects, season upon season, to be involved in a plethora of games as trophies are chased.
