Tonight we expect Old Trafford to be a cauldron of noise as Manchester United take on Paris Saint-Germain in a two-legged knockout tie.

After safely negotiating the group stages, we’re now at the stage of the Champions League where, against the best teams in Europe, there is no room for error.

One mistake can have huge ramifications when it comes to any hopes of progressing to the latter stages of Europe’s Premier competition.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, defending his unbeaten record since taking over the managerial hot-seat, from Jose Mourinho, knows it is games like this that will heavily influence whether he will be given the managerial role on a permanent basis.

Solksjaer will be hoping his side keep a clean sheet in this tie, thereby preventing Paris Saint-Germain from getting a valuable away goal, he’ll also be secretly hoping his side can take a lead to the Parc des Princes to make the second-leg comfortable.
