United Get Another Hugely Testing FA Cup Draw

|

If Manchester United are to make a return to Wembley, for the FA Cup Final in May, then they are certainly having to go about it the hard way.

After being drawn against Arsenal, at the Emirates Stadium, in the third round and producing a fine performance to emerge, 3-1 victors, the Manchester United faithful would have been hoping that their side might just get an easier draw in round five, especially with several Premier League clubs having already exited the competition.

But such a wish was not going to be granted.

At the draw, ahead of the fourth round tie between Barnet and Brentford, Manchester United were given another hugely difficult tie when they were drawn to face Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are, of course, the current holders of the trophy having beaten Manchester United last May, courtesy of a penalty from Eden Hazard, in the first half of the game.

If Manchester United are to reach the sixth round and continue their progression in the competition, it’ll take a huge performance to beat Chelsea on their home patch, but, then again, with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer having turned things around at the club, it is something, we feel, we are capable of doing.

The tie will be played sometime between February 15 and February 18.
