Three Reds start for Brazil tonight

|

Antony and Alex Telles make their World Cup debut’s for Brazil and Fred also starts for Brazil in their clash against Cameroon.

In what is a much-changed Brazil line-up, Tite has benched his regular starting players, which means that Casemiro has been given a rest as he is on the bench for tonight’s clash.

Tite has one eye on Brazil’s Round of 16 clash, which is most likely to be against South Korea, who dramatically qualified from Group H after beating Portugal 2-1 at the Education City Stadium.

Alex Telles, who is on loan to Sevilla in La Liga from United, starts for Brazil in what will be his first ever World Cup start. Telles comes into the team for the injured Alex Sandro, who came off in the win over Switzerland, which meant that Telles played four minutes during the 1-0 win over the Swiss.

Antony has made two appearances for Brazil at the World Cup thus far coming as a substitute in Brazil’s victories over both Serbia and Switzerland.

Antony was brought on in the second half during Brazil’s game with Switzerland and he was on the pitch when his fellow United team-mate Casemiro struck the winner in a 1-0 win.

There were some question marks about Fred starting as he was competing for a staring spot with Newcastle’s Bruno Guimares, but he keeps his place in the Brazil starting line-up having started against the Swiss in their previous outing.

The game between Brazil and Cameroon kicks off at 7pm U.K. time.
