Jadon Sancho has not been named in the Manchester United squad for the winter training camp visit to Spain, where United have two friendly games pencilled in, which are against La Liga sides Cadiz and Real Betis,
The club this morning provided an update as to why the United number 25 was not in the travelling party that travelled to Spain yesterday and said the following, “Jadon Sancho is continuing his individual training programme as part of a process to get back to his highest level. The club is fully supporting him in this” [manutd.com]
Last month, a video clip on Twitter was doing the rounds on social media and it showed Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho partaking in an individual training drill.

The video showed Sancho training at Dutch amateur side OJC Rosmalen in a bid to get him back to what the club says “his highest level”, and there is no doubt with Sancho’s talents he is capable of achieving that.
According to United journalist Laurie Whitwell, Sancho was working with Netherlands coaches that have been advocated by United manager Erik ten Hag, which can only benefit the England man, who has been capped by his country 23 times [Transfermarkt.com].

The United number 25, started the season in good form with two goals in his first five appearances against Liverpool and Leicester respectively.

United saw the best of Sancho in the 4-2 win against Leeds at Elland Road last season, where he showed his calmness at critical moments as he delayed his pass to Fred, who scored a thunderbolt from close range after making an underlapping run.
