Wayne Rooney has been recognised for his unbelievable football playing career as he received an award at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.
Rooney was not the only former Manchester United player to receive a prize as Zlatan Ibrahimovic also won an award at the Globe Soccer Awards.

However, Ibrahimovic’s second season did not go to plan as he could only make five appearances in the Premier League [Transfermarkt.com]. Nevertheless, he is still showing his longevity as a footballer as last season he helped AC Milan win Serie A for the first time since the 2010//11 season.
The Milan striker is currently injured but hopes to be back playing soon, even at the remarkable age of 41.
Congratulations to both players on being recognised for their unbelievable football careers.
