Ronaldo says United have made ‘Zero Progress’

|

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo spoke in his interview with Piers Morgan about the club and how he and Sir Alex Ferguson know that the club isn’t going in the right direction.

In his interview with Piers Morgan, he said “He [Sir Alex Ferguson] knows better than anybody that the club is not on the path they deserve to be. He knows. Everyone knows. The people who don’t see that… it’s because they don’t want to see; they are blind.”[Piers Morgan Uncensored]

As we know this has been true ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left Manchester United they have not been able to cope, towards the end of Fergie’s career it was obvious that he and the Glazers had a bit of tension with the Americans controversially buying the club and as Ferguson is a man of the people he also thought this was the wrong way of going about to buy a football club.

There is an argument that has circulated around and especially was at the forefront when the Scotsman left around how he left the club in not the greatest state for another manager to come in and succeed but with Sir Alex taking up so many roles being the manager, coach, director of football and heavily being involved with the scouts it is no wonder that it would be hard for the next manager because in effect Ferguson was doing nearly four jobs under one title as manager.

This was another quote Cristiano shared, very similar to the first quote however him saying there has been “Zero Progress” made at the club is massive when talking about the training facilities and this would be seen as another valid point by some United fans.

When Ronaldo arrived at Old Trafford in the 2003/04 season United was dominating so they had the state of the art facilities moving from the cliff to Carrington was massive but nothing has been done at the training ground in recent years and the Red Devils have fallen behind massively.
