Pochettino Appears To Be The Only Choice For Manchester United

With Jose Mourinho’s reign, at Old Trafford, confined to the history books, it remains to be seen what the future holds as far as a permanent managerial appointment.

With the clubs hierarchy having decided to appoint a caretaker manager, in the shape of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, it gives those who tread the hallowed corridors the chance to sit down and formulate a plan that will see Manchester United restored to the upper echelons of European football.

But, according to the media, and with the Telegraph, being a typical illustration of the point about to be made, Manchester United appear to have only one man in their sights, the Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine, who has had quite an impact at Tottenham Hotspur, since joining the North London club from Southampton, is seen as the man who will reinvigorate our club, bringing back the passion and style of football that helped make us one of, or if not the, most famous clubs in the game.

Unfortunately, Pochettino, if Manchester United can lure him away from North London, will come at a price with our source reporting that Manchester United would have to pay something akin to £42 million in compensation to Tottenham Hotspur for Pochettino.

But, with our stock, according to our start to the season, at an all-time low, those who run our club are aware that the next appointment just has to be the right one.

However, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham would be willing to do a deal or even whether Pochettino would be interested in taking on what is, undoubtedly, a huge challenge.

Now that remains to be seen.
