Out-Of-Favour Manchester United Defender Could Be Given A Premier League Life-Line

|

One of the forgotten men of the Manchester United squad could be set for a January transfer window move.

I cannot remember when our 30-year-old Argentine defender, Marcos Rojo, last made a Premier League appearance for the club with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer preferring to use other defenders available to him.

But whilst many Manchester United supporters may have been expecting Rojo to leave the United Kingdom in search of regular first team football, an opportunity could be set to arise that would see him remain in the Premier League.

The local media source The Sheffield Star is of the opinion that Sheffield United are considering a move for Rojo.

If an approach is forthcoming though, then Rojo would have to consider whether he wants to continue his career with a club that have made a disastrous start to the 2020 / 2021 season accumulating just 1 point from the 33 available and who look, on current form, to be destined for a return to the Championship.

If I were Marcos, I would certainly wait and see what other offers materialised before moving to South Yorkshire, wouldn’t you?
