Manchester United take on League 1 side Charlton Athletic tomorrow in the Carabao Cup Quarter Finals.

Charlton have won their last two games in League 1 beating Portsmouth and Lincoln City most recently 2-1 at the weekend.

In their run to the Quarter Final, Charlton have gone the distance in some ties including the first round game against Queens Park Rangers where the Addicks won on penalties 5-3.

They then faced Walsall in round two with winger Diallang Jiyesimi getting the vital goal to send the southern side into the third round.

Where Ben Garner’s team beat Stevenage 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the full 90 minutes.

Premier League opposition came next as Charlton faced Brighton with that game also going to the spot to decide the game as the Valley saw their team win 4-3 on penalties which earnt them a trip to Old Trafford.

United’s first game in the League Cup was on the 10th November where they beat Aston Villa 4-2 after defeat to the Villains four days prior to the game in the Premier League.

The Red Devils next faced Vincent Kompany’s Burnley with Erik Ten Hag knowing it would be a tough game, he started a strong starting 11.

As United prevailed and moved onto the next round with a 2-0 win, goals coming from Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford.
