Leeds United vs Manchester United Preview

|

Manchester United travel up to Yorkshire on Sunday to play rivals Leeds United for the second time this week.

Both these teams played each other this week and drew 2-2 with goals coming from Wilfried Gnonto and a Raphael Varane own goal, however, the Red Devils scored two goals to earn a point at home with England duo Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho scoring.

Leeds United currently sit in 16th place in the Premier League, being one point a drift from the relegation spots. Manchester United have two wins in their last five as they sit in 3rd place with 43 points.

However, Newcastle United in 4th have a game in hand and are three points off Erik Ten Hag’s side, as they face Bournemouth away on Saturday at 17:30.

Manchester United will look to improve on their performance from Wednesday against the Yorkshire side, with it being clear how much the team miss Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in midfield.

With Leeds bouncing back from the sacking of Jesse Marsch at the start of the week, they will look to create a hostile atmosphere for the Red Devils on Sunday to claim all three points.

Manchester United face Leeds United on Sunday at 2 pm on Sky Sports.
