Flicking through the many sources of news available to us amateur hacks, I can’t help but notice that our strikers are attracting a fair bit of speculation.
Starting with Marcus Rashford, the news source the Express, is reporting that the 21-year-old England international is attracting a lot of interest from La Liga with our referenced source implying that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in acquiring the services of the young striker.
Continuing, the Italian media, courtesy of Calciomercato, we find that Romelu Lukaku is also a wanted man with the 25-year-old striker said to be interesting Juventus.
Now, we’re expecting a plethora of speculation this January transfer window, with a club of our stature it is always going to be the case but, seriously, can you see Manchester United being prepared to sell two of the best strikers on the clubs’ books let alone in the Premier League.
No! Me neither.
