Manchester United Set For Disappointment In Chase For This Top-Name Striker

If Manchester United were banking on landing a big-name striker this summer to lead the Old Trafford attack, one intended target may, now, be off the menu.

Last week, we ran an article – manchester-united-linked-with-capture-of-top-class-goal-scorer – which covered the speculation linking Manchester United with a move for the Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.

The move was based on the possibility of Kane deciding to leave Tottenham Hotspur if the London club don’t qualify for Champions League football and opting to move to a club that has the potential to win honours, something Tottenham don’t appear capable of at the moment.

However, any hopes that Kane could move to Old Trafford could be in jeopardy according to The Express with our source picking up on the insinuation that Kane may opt to exit the Premier League altogether and head for Italy with Juventus the destination being put forward.

Now, here at Vital Manchester United, we’re unable to comment on how strong the foundations to this piece of speculation are but if Kane were to reject and proposed move to Manchester United and leave the Premier League altogether, it would be a major loss to the domestic game.

Here at Vital Manchester United we’ll endeavour to monitor the situation and report back accordingly.
