I cannot see this happening, but it is still worth a read.

Perhaps the most jaw-dropping piece of transfer speculation lurking in the media today relates to Manchester United being told this target would require the world transfer fee record to be broken.

But who could Manchester United be looking to acquire if the world transfer record fee would have to be broken?

Well, to many it would be something of an unknown player!

The good folk of The Express are reporting that the Old Trafford hierarchy may be interested in purchasing the Barcelona winger, Ansu Fati.

Fati, just 17-years-of-age, is expected to become a superstar of the game and, according to our source, Barcelona have put a colossal transfer fee of £355 million his head.

Clearly, Barcelona must rank Fati very, very highly if that is the figure quoted.

Personally, if I were to cough up such a fee, I would expect Lionel Messi and a couple of others to arrive in a luxury limousine at the training ground not a teenager who can barely ride a bicycle!
