Manchester United Fans Do Not Believe Everything You Read In The Media

|

One of the strange quirks of living in this country is the way the media when you have done sufficient to be placed on a pedestal, are intent on knocking you off.

A typical example is that of our young forward, Mason Greenwood.

Yesterday, if you had swallowed the claim published by The Daily Mail, you could well have been forced to change your views of the 19-year-old with our referenced source suggesting Mason had a time-keeping problem and that he had been spoken to, about it, by the club.

The inclination might have been there to view Mason as someone with a chip on his shoulder who was flouting authority.

Today, ahead of the clash with Chelsea, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has spoken about Mason, as reported by The BBC and has totally denied Mason has a time-keeping problem, remarking:

“Mason made a mistake this summer with England and suddenly the whole English press go after him.

“I have to disappoint you [media], he is never late for training. He is never a problem when he is on the training ground. He is always on time. I have seen the stories and some ex-United players talking about him and they don’t know what they are talking about.

“We have photographers outside the training ground every day, they can see he is on time every day. I don’t know where these stories have come from.

“He has a good family behind him. He has had a good background in the academy. He is a good trainer. He trains really well. I cannot believe all these stories about him not being professional.”

Like I said in the article headline, do not believe everything you read in the press, Mason is, as Ole says, a well-grounded young man who will become a superstar.

Same thing different person. it’s clear to see the British media put clicks/hits/paper sales over being patriotic. since the premier league became the premier league, this has gotten worse and worse.

British media have hyped up young British players and then ruined them with attacks and fake news. Until news agencies and news “sources” Are verified and held accountable for lying this won’t change.
